April 16, 2021 Big congrats to Michael McCabe, Mike Wilson, Jordan Strauss, and the entire team from Munck Wilson & Mandala, LLP on their $85M jury verdict for AMS Sensors/TAOS in EDTX-Sherman. These fine professionals kept the jury focused during a very contentious theft of trade secrets and breach of contract trial that lasted almost 2 weeks. Kudos to the jury, this one being very educated, for their service, as well as the judicial officers and court staff for keeping the courtroom doors open. It was a privilege and a pleasure for my team and I to play a role in this success story.

March 29, 2021 Congrats to Jay Munisteri, Sara Brown, and the entire trial team from Foley & Lardner, LLP on their defense jury verdict in a trade secrets case in federal court in Houston, TX. We picked this jury back in November, but the trial was continued due to COVID. The same jury came back to finish the job, and they got it right due to the strategic approach by Jay and his team. Jay is very skilled in the courtroom, and has mastered the art of winning over the jury via cross-ex of the opposing witnesses. It was a pleasure and a privilege play a role in this success story. Lastly, special thanks to the jury for returning to complete their service, as well as the court staff and judicial officers for keeping the wheels of justice moving.

April 25, 2021 Congrats to Sarah Columbia, Ian Brooks, and Nikki Capitano from McDermott, Will & Emery, LLP as well as Kenzo Kawanabe and Ben Strawn from Davis, Graham & Stubbs, LLP on their complete defense jury verdict in a trade secrets and breach of contract trial for the client Next Caller/Pindrop in Denver. These professionals were outstanding to work with, and were very strategic in the courtroom, making it easy for the jury to get this one right. And big kudos to the jurors for their time and courage to serve during a pandemic. Not a single prospective juror raised a hardship of any kind during jury selection. My team and I are proud to have played a role in this success story.

December 21, 2020 Defense jury verdict by zoom. Congrats to Mark Walters, and his team from Lowe Graham Jones, PLLC on their jury verdict in a fraud case pending in Seattle on behalf of their client AlfaPharma. Mark is an excellent lawyer who is always prepared and very passionate about his cases. It was a privilege to once again work with him and play a small role in this success story. This result plus others indicate that even over zoom and during a pandemic, juries still get it right. Knowing what drives their decision-making remains the key. Lastly, kudos to the jurors who gave their time and the Judge who moved the case forward to trial.

March 5, 2020 Congrats to Grace Speights, Brad Nes, Amanda Robinson, and the entire trial team from Morgan Lewis & Bockius, LLP on their verdict on behalf of PBS in Washington, DC. In a high-profile matter, these fine professionals made it easy for the jury to find for PBS on the breach of contract claim against it, as well as award PBS $1.5M for its counterclaim against the Plaintiff. I also truly applaud the good people at PBS for trusting the jury system. It was both a pleasure and a privilege to play a role in their success story. And lastly, kudos to the jury for their time and service.
