July 15, 2013 Congrats to Bruce Sostek, Rich Wynne, Justin Cohen and the entire trial team from Thompson & Knight on their defense verdict in Tyler in the Wi-LAN v. Ericsson et al. matter. The jury found no patent infringement and also invalidated 3 of 4 Wi-LAN patents. The trial team worked tirelessly and deserves applause for putting on a simple case within a complex fact pattern.
