May 2025

May 23, 2025, Congrats to Natalie Bennett, Jason White, Jason Gettleman, Nicholas Restauri, and the entire trial team from Morgan Lewis, LLP as well as Travis Underwood from Gillam & Smith, LLP on their defense verdict in Marshall, TX today on behalf of LG. These professionals made it easy for the jury to determine there was no infringement and that patents were invalid. And the jury did not care that LG was from Korea nor that LG’s biggest competitor had taken a license to these patents. It was a pleasure to play a role in their success story.

May 16, 2025, Congrats to Kurt Spengler, Katelin King, and the entire trial team at Wicker Smith, LLP on their defense jury verdict in Kissimmee, FL on behalf of Lennar Homes. This was a negligence case involving a tragic loss, no doubt, but the jury placed the blame in the right places, assigning a minimal amount to Lennar and awarding only $50k in damages to the Plaintiff, while the ask was tens of millions. It was a pleasure to play a role in this success story, and kudos to the courageous jury who gave their time and attention to the matter.
